Half - Time from the Den

MILLWALL 2 –0 Gillingham

The Lions have thoroughly dominated, unusually playing towards the Cold Blow Lane End in the 1st half after losing the toss.

A good solid performance from the Lions and some lovely work between Trotter and Schofield setting Batt up for the 1st goal, a stunning low shot that slipped straight past the Gillingham keeper. It was the first time that Julian had really been tested in the Gills goal. The second came just minutes after, a long throw from Morison was not properly dealt with and Tony Craig lobbed it over the defense and keeper and straight into the back of net to bag his 2nd of the season.

The Gills did get a chance minutes before half-time, Simeon Jackson getting a shot off on target but he was unable to beat Lions keeper David Forde.

MILLWALL MILLWALL MILLWALL….LET’EM ALL COME DOWN TO THE DEN!!!!
