What a game!!! The Lions just couldn't stop scoring with goals from Shaun Batt, Tony Craig, Danny Schofield and Neil Harris see the Lions 4-0 winners and up to 2nd and into the automatic promotion spots!
The Lions, a thoroughly dominant side today, the Gills never really being allowed into the game. It took the Lions a little while to get into the 2nd half, but a lone attempt from Schofield resettled the side and a lovely header from Harris saw the Lions 4 to the good.
Millwall fans were slightly disappointed not to see even the briefest appearance from Gary Alexander who has been in full training after not seeing the pitch since October. It would appear that manager Kenny Jackett was more mindful of resting certain players ready for their trip to Yeovil on Tuesday night though.
