Cliffords Response (My commets are in itallics) to Parky's rant Posted below

Michael Parkinson had a very public rant about Jade Goody yesterday.
He branded the late reality TV star as "ignorant and puerile", adding "Her death is as sad as the death of any young person, but it's not the passing of a martyr or a saint or, God help us, Princess Di."
Many were shocked by Parky's words.(not me)
And now Jade's publicist, Max Clifford, has spoken out against the comments made by the 74-year-old in the Radio Times.
Max told the Daily Mail: "I think it is a horrible thing for Parkinson to have said. Max Clifford
"The girl has just been buried and her family are really grieving.
"Jade has spoken about her regret that she was not educated (why didn't she further her education then when she had the chance and money) and shown her commitment to her young sons getting the best schooling. That speaks volumes about the sort of girl she was.(Thought that was just being a mum, nothing extra ordinary about that)
Whatever the big boys are fighting about, Jade's fan base speaks for itself; with thousands turning out to line the streets for her funeral procession last Saturday.
I personally feel that this merely reflects a morbid fascination similar to people slowing down as they pass a car accident to see what has happened. As for Mr. Max Clifford, he seems to me to have made himself a tidy fortune off Jade Goody's death, you can stop pretending to care now Max!
And would someone please tell me how exactly other than publicising exactly what women with cervical cancer have to look forward to, has she helped women with cancer? What hospices has she visited, who has she directly helped other than herself? (Not including financial gain for her children as any mother would want to provide for their kids, most manage it with a touch of dignity and class!)
At the end of the day Jade Good's legacy will end exactly as it started, with an embarassing public spectacle.
